Resources

Resources is the controlled release point for citation guidance, reproducibility material, approved data and code packages, map assets and repository links associated with ArchaeoLocus research.

A resource appearing here is not automatically the complete internal research archive. Public release is governed by publication rights, source licences, coordinate sensitivity, version control and the need to make the analytical result reproducible without exposing material that should remain restricted.

01

Citation and versioning

Use the citation supplied on the relevant publication record when one is available. Working papers, website pages and research notes should be identified by their stated version or revision date so that later corrections are not silently projected backwards onto an earlier result.

02

Reproducibility packages

Where publication conditions permit, a reproducibility package may include the analysed point set, coordinate provenance, parameter file, code or executable workflow, random seed, key output tables, figure manifest and a read-me describing how the principal result can be regenerated.

03

Data, code and coordinates

Public data must preserve provenance and the exact analytical role of each coordinate. Archaeological points that are coarse representatives, conditional identifications or sensitive locations are not upgraded to false precision merely because a digital file can store many decimal places.

Where precise coordinates should not be released publicly, a reproducibility package may use redaction, controlled access or an appropriately generalised public representation while preserving the full internal audit record.

04

Maps and figures

Website maps are selected evidence figures, not automatically reusable publication artwork. Image rights, underlying basemap licences, journal or magazine conditions and figure-specific credit requirements must be checked before reuse.

05

Current release status

No unpublished full manuscript, internal run archive or unrestricted master coordinate workbook is released merely because the website is public. Approved downloads and repository records will be added here as the corresponding rights and reproducibility gates are cleared.
